Jabra gear converges on a hybrid work audio sweet spot

Not every business accessory maker is getting this hybrid work era right, but it's great to see Jabra is adapting its line up very nicely to the new era.

It's worth shouting out two 2023 additions to the Jabra audio roster that I've had the chance to test out recently.

Jabra has long been a business audio leader. The question of what it means to be a 'business' audio company in a hybrid world has been up for grabs, but both of these units offer the high performance of business blended with the flexibility of working whenever and wherever you want.

The Evolve2 65 Flex is a nice, superlight active noise cancelling Bluetooth headset with a foldable design that makes it a breeze to keep in your bag. It also has a nice little wireless charging stand option so it's always at the ready.

But my favourite was the Speak2 75 Bluetooth speakerphone that makes any coworking meeting room into a solid conference call space. 4x beamforming microphones mean you can drop this hockey puck on a table and gather around, getting excellent speaker output and microphone performance for remote attendees. There are guide lights that also glow green or red to flag if the unit thinks it's getting a good audio signal or not. And with 32 hours active use battery life it'll outlast a busy road trip.

Not every business accessory maker is getting this hybrid work era right, but it's great to see Jabra is adapting its line up very nicely to the new era.
