Kerbal Space Program turns 10: inside the game's amazing evolution

I've tried to play Kerbal Space Program. I've really tried. But what looks on the surface like a bit of space age fun turns out to have some deep, DEEP rocket science going on that makes it wildly challenging to succeed with.

But that doesn't mean I don't adore the fact the game exists.

So it's wonderful to see that the game is now 10 years old, and while the team is hard at work on delivering Kerbal Space Program 2, they've taken the time to offer up wonderful infographic that looks at how the game has evolved over its decade right alongside some of the big moments in real world space science milestones over the same time.

A decade in space: real and Kerbal.

Seeing all these updates that include planet hopping activities and the like makes me think I should revisit the game sometime soon. Or at least give KSP2 a good shot when it blasts off in 2022.
