The iPhone's first wave of games

Of all the 10th anniversary iPhone content out there, this caught my eye. Because it was the App Store in year two, and the games that appeared, that really sealed the deal for the iPhone's success.

So thanks to Ars for reminding me of games like Aurora Feint. At the time they seemed so good (but we secretly knew they were a bit rubbish). The evolution of the platform as a gaming device has been amazing. These early games still showed how different the iPhone was to everything else you made phone calls on.
